Mehmet Kılıçkaya was born in Ankara in 1967. He graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1991. Between 1991 and 1992, he served at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. From 1992 to 1995, he completed his Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Iowa, USA, where he also worked as a research assistant. Between 1995 and 1997, he completed his MBA program at the City University of New York. From 1995 to 2004, he was engaged in the textile trade in New York. He served as Assistant Finance Manager at Fon Finansal Kiralama A.Ş. between 2004 and 2007, Finance Manager at Kale Group from 2007 to 2008, and Finance Director at Kayı Holding from 2008 to 2023. Additionally, he served as CEO of Gaziantep City Hospital Investment Co. between 2019 and 2022, and as Director of Financial Affairs at Eroğlu Holding from 2024 to 2025. As of February 2026, he has been serving as the CFO of Koray Group.
