Dr. Tamer Metinsoy was born in Istanbul in 1979. He graduated as a Civil Engineer from Yıldız Technical University in 2001 and obtained his Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 2004. He pursued his doctoral studies at West Virginia University between 2005 and 2006, completing his PhD in Civil Engineering at Boğaziçi University in 2011.

Between 2002 and 2012, Dr. Tamer Metinsoy worked as an Ministry Inspector at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and in 2012, he left his position as an inspector to teach undergraduate courses at Maltepe University. Currently, he is an academician at Yeditepe University and provides consultancy services to national and international firms across various sectors. Mr. Metinsoy is proficient in Spanish and English, married, and a father of two children.
